Click clack and Thespius lay side by side in Thespius’ realm. Thespius has his eyes closed, and Click views their own hand, contemplative.
C ‘Hey, Thespius…’
T ‘Mhm~?’
C ‘‘Do you remember what I looked like? As a mortal?’ The god of stories asks, demurely.’’
Thespius smiles, opening one eye. ‘What a wild question! As if I could ever forg-' He’s met with Modmad’s mortal form of Click Clack.
C '…Do you ever miss it?'

C '…Thespius?'
Thespius is in tears. 'Abuhbwahaghabuh-!'
C ' ‘You want to run that line by me again?’ The god of stories, looking upon this tearful visage, could not help but he reminded of the emotional historian, Bauhauzzo…' A small Bauhauzzo is illustrated.
Thespius sits up, cupping Click’s face. 'I-I’m sorry dude, it’s just - it’s been nearly a century since I saw you like this!'
Click sits up. ' ‘Ah! That’s right - I suppose I did change a lot, huh.’ - the god grossly understates - ‘having to wait those long thirty three years to catch up with you…'
Click’s mortal form changes to an older age, holding Thespius’ hand. '…Did you really still love me? Even then?'
Thespius hugs them. 'Always… Always. Always. Always.'

Click Clack reverts to a younger mortal form, looking at his hand and smiling. 'The god regards their mortal form with a strange sense of nostalgia. ‘It’s funny. When I was like this, all I could focus on was this body’s failings - how weak it was, how easy to injure and quick to tire… I never thought that I could miss it…'
Click’s changes to his god form, excitedly typing away at Georgia. ' ‘Especially after attaining such a superior form as lets me write in whatever manner and for eternity!’ The writing god rejoices, unadvisedly ‘shrimping’ over the welcome figure of his beloved typewriter.'
Thespius props himself up on his elbows, concerned. 'You shouldn’t treat your back like that, dude. Even us gods can experience pain to some degree… and it sets a bad example.'
Click dismissively waves their hand. 'The careless god waves aside their lover’s wide assertion: ‘Oh, tish-push! Dear Thespius! I just have Huzzle-Mug steamroller me and I’m right as rain again!' A side doodle shows Huzzle in a steamroller, giving a thumbs up.
Back to Mortal form, click wistfully smiles at Thespius. ' ‘But… seeing how happy you were to see this form again… that made me happy, too.’ The small god states, sincerely. ‘I could always stay like this? If you prefer me this way?’'
Thespius smiles, puzzled. 'Prefer-?'
C 'The god of love and mirth repeats, amused… (much to his partner’s confusion.)'

Thespius leans over a flustered Click, holding their chin. 'Do you ‘prefer’ me if I’m wearing a skirt, or trousers?'
C '‘W-Well, of course not! It doesn’t matter what you wear…’ the flummoxed god declares whilst blushing madly…'
T 'Exactly. I love YOU. Whatever you look like- whatever scale, whatever form, whatever… whatever!'
Click changes to god form. 'So, you like me just as much like this?'
Thespius kisses their forehead. 'Mhmmm~'
Click changes into a bunny form. 'Or like this?'
Thespius hugs them close. 'So cute!!!'
Click changes to their OG game model. '‘Or this?’ The god asks, knowing the answer full well…'
Thespius holds them in his hand. 'A classic! Adorable! Charming!'

Click changes to a beastly form with a large, toothy maw. 'Oh? So… What if I look like THISSSSSSS?'
Thespius blushes, flowers blooming in his hair. Click blushes back

T 'I love you. No matter what form that ‘you’ might take.' Click Clack kicks around in flustered happiness.
Thespius continues, holding Click’s hand as it shifts through various forms. 'Whether your body is made of rubber… or fur… or flesh… or out of ink and paper.'
A curved line drifts across a blank panel.
T 'I love that you change, and I know that you will, time and time again… because, just as love is ever constant - the nature of stories is the nature of change.'

Thespius kisses the cheek of mortal form Click Clack, dipping them in a dance. 'Always new, always exciting - full of endless possibilities. No matter what form you choose to take, no matter which mask you wear - I love you. I love the ‘you’ you represent, and I love the ‘you’re beneath it…'
They slow dance atop the Yin and Yang symbol.
T '…and I’m looking forward to loving every version of you that I will get to experience - throughout eternity.'
End of comic.
